Quantitative genetics
Genetic analysis of milk yield and constituent traits in indigenous and crossbred cattle; Phenotypic characterization of sheep and goat; Selection and genetic improvement of sheep and goat; Data analysis by relevant softwares

Molecular genetics
Genetic polymorphism, molecular characterization and association study of milk protein genes (buffalo), Butyrophilin gene (cattle), genes for growth, prolificacy and out-of-season breeding traits (sheep); Introgression of FecB mutation in non-prolific non-carrier sheep; Molecular data analysis using bioinformatics tools
